A724 Hamilton Road Closure - Buses Suspended

South Lanarkshire Council has announced the closure of the A724 road between Blantyre Farm Road and Hallside Boulevard from Monday 11 November to Friday 15 November.
Bus Service Impact
- First Glasgow bus services 263 and 267 will be suspended
- Alternative route via Whirlies roundabout adds approximately 4 miles per journey
FirstBus Statement
"This is not a position that we have taken lightly in view of the considerable adverse affect on customers in Blantyre, Halfway, Cambuslang and Rutherglen but we are not able to sustain the additional time incurred."
