Litter Pick - 26th April 2014

The Drumsagard Village Residents Association (DVRA), in collaboration with the Greenbelt Group and Hallside Primary School, launched a clean-up campaign.

Highlights

• Poster competition winner Kieran Cahill unveiled the first poster
• Volunteers included DVRA members, Hallside Primary School pupils, BB Flemington-Hallside Church members, MP Tom Greatrex, and Councillor Walter Brogan
• Collected 20 full bags of litter from footpaths, landscaped areas, and the Multi Use Games Arena (MUGA)
• DVRA provided free refreshments and gave prizes to children
• Participants found unusual items like old tyres and a broken door

Future Events

The DVRA plans to make litter picks a regular event and encourages more volunteers to participate.
