OFFICIAL HANDOVER OF MUGA AND KICK PITCH

The MUGA and kick pitch at the Castle site were officially handed over to the DVRA & Drumsagard Trust on Thursday 25th August.

DVRA committee members met with representatives of the Greenbelt Association and the Banks group.

Invited guests included Counsellor Richard Tullett and retired Counsellor Davy Kiers,  South Lanarkshire Council and other local community residents who have provided their support to this project.

A plaque to commemorate the occasion was presented by the Drumsagard Trust to be mounted at the MUGA.

Following a photo shoot with the Rutherglen reformer all of the attendees were invited to lunch at Equi's courtesy of the Drumsagard Trust.
